Festival Fees

Registration Fee:

150€ (Required for all participants)

Categories:

 

A) Passive Participant (Non-active listener):

Benefits:

• Access to all public workshops and concerts during the festival.

• No additional participation fee.

​

B) Active Participant (Full participation in festival activities):

Benefits:

• 2 ensemble rehearsals

• 2 individual Masterclasses (45 mins each)

• 2 public workshops

• Special Concert 1 (Solo performance, no longer than 8 minutes)

• Special Concert 2 (Participation in a string orchestra or ensemble)

• Golden Hall Grand Concert (The first prize winner in the professional category will have a solo performance, while other participants will join as part of a string orchestra or ensemble)

• Participation in the World String Competition, including concert and competition accompaniment costs.

 

C) Non-competition participant (Attending all activities except competition):

Benefits:​​

• 2 ensemble rehearsals

• 2 individual Masterclasses (45 mins each)

• 2 public workshops

• Special Concert 1 (Solo performance, no longer than 8 minutes）

• Special Concert 2 (Participation in a string orchestra or ensemble)

• Golden Hall Grand Concert (The first prize winner in the professional category will have a solo performance, while other participants will join as part of a string orchestra or ensemble)​

D) Competition-only participant (Includes accompanist):

Benefits:

• Participation in the World String Competition.

• Includes accompanist (for the competition).

• Does not include any other festival activities.

The participants in the professional competition category may be eligible for a fee reduction based on situation.

E) Masterclasses - only Participant (3-lesson package, 45 minutes per lesson):​

Benefits:

• You can choose different instructors for the lessons.

• Access to all public workshops and concerts during the festival.

• Additional fees for accompanist and translator services if needed.

F) Youth Course-Only Participant (3-lesson package, 30 minutes per lesson):

Benefits:

1. Choose different instructors for each lesson

2. Access to all public workshops and concerts during the festival

3. Additional fees apply for accompanist and translator services if needed​

 

Piano Accompanist and Translator / Instrument Rental

Certificates and Awards:

• All participants will receive a participation certificate.

• Competition participants have the opportunity to win prizes such as trophies or certificates.

• The first-place winner in the professional category will have the opportunity to perform solo in the Golden Hall of Musikverein.
